What is the NEPA 2 Framework?
The NEPA 2 Framework Agreement enables Higher & Further Education institutions across the UK to partner with Landscape and HP to transform the working and learning environment of both staff and students.
Landscape is an approved supplier on the National Education Printer Framework Agreement (NEPA) for Printing Services to Universities, Higher and Further Education institutions. The milestone award caps a successful period of growth for Xeretec & Landscape in this area, and a testament to Landscape’s long-term commitment to supporting the provision of improved services to the UK national education sector.
This agreement demonstrates how Landscape can help significantly reduce costs while improving efficiencies in higher education and further education.
Landscape’s partnership with University of York
Landscape partnered with University of York via the NEPA 2 framework to provide HP Managed Print Services.
We delivered a 17% reduction in print costs, brand new HP technology and lower overall C02 emissions.
Collaborative Procurement for Managed Print Services
According to NEUPC, the new framework has been designed with input from the University Print Managers Association as well as experts from both members and consortia to ensure that it fulfils members print requirements under one agreement and their strategic planning needs.
Since the 2011 Diamond Review and the response of Procurement UK, universities achieved a reduction target of 30% through collaborative procurement by 2016.
The expanded agreement encompasses a range of print services in response to the distinct needs of user groups in Higher Education and the commitment of UK universities to deliver efficiencies and value for money for students, government and the wider public.
“Our new Managed Print Service means that the university gains from cost and environmental savings, while our staff and students benefit from using the latest HP technology with faster devices and greater productivity, through features such as Mobility Print and integrated scanning, and the third-party print management product, PaperCut.”
“We were very impressed by the combination of a committed, locally-based service provider, which took a real interest in us and our aspirations, backed by the proven expertise and technology of a global manufacturer in HP.”
